Why I Stopped Talking About Habit Tracking

I've spent a lot of time talking about habit tracking. If you go back through my posts, it's everywhere because that's the foundation of Welcome Week in Tabernacle. But I think we've kind of worn out that word. The real thing I'm talking about isn't the habit tracking itself. It's consistency. The ability to show up again and again and again. That's what actually changes everything.

When You're Building a Business, There's One Skill That Matters
Here's How I Learned It While Traveling the World
When you're building a business, especially at the beginning, there's one skill that matters above everything else: consistency. It's what got me from zero to six figures. I know because I did it while traveling the world.
I spent years leading yoga and creativity retreats. Hawaii for three months. Amsterdam for three months. Mexico. Iceland. Bali. France. Beautiful chaos, right? But you know what kept my business from falling apart? Consistency.
I'd land in a new Airbnb, create a routine immediately. Morning journaling. Yoga studio. Then straight to work in a café. Same tools every time (Adobe, Airtable, Google). Same focus. One big creative project at a time. And I never stopped showing my face.
At the time I had a Lumix camera, so I documented it all. I showed up daily. I let people learn how I think, how I work, what I believe in. And that consistency? That's what people bought into.
What I'm Working On
The Tabernacle messaging around consistency. Because this first three-week foundation is everything. This year, I’m multiplying my reach without multiplying my workload. One piece becomes a content engine across YouTube, audio, social. I’m multiplying my impact by automating what doesn’t need my hands so I can be fully present—with Noa, with my creative work, with you.
What I'm Loving
The moment when Tabernacle Residents realize their inconsistency isn't about discipline—it's about clarity.
What I'm Celebrating
One of my clients, Nicole, posted her face on camera for the first time in an Instagram Reel this week. Terrified. Did it anyway.
So here's my question for you: what would consistency look like for your business if you stopped overthinking it and just committed?
